eLearning Specialist

eLearning Specialist needed for the Omaha, NE location. Position leads the development and delivery of innovative distance learning solutions to extend Profitstar’s educational outreach beyond traditional in-person sessions and participates in the development and /or enhancement of training materials for all other Profitstar products. Conducts software application training and consultations for hands-on users and basic asset/liability management education for CEO/CFO level personnel and staff.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide training and consultative assistance on all software applications and basic asset/liability management issues, primarily via remote channels.

Develop distance learning solutions to utilize remote and self-paced delivery channels. Includes individual sessions via internet technology, webinars, and interactive computer-based tutorials.

Develop marketing plans for, and actively sells distance learning solutions. Work with other team members and departments to adapt, offer, and deliver E-Learning solutions.

Sell training and consultative services.

Report on and maintain activity records.

Provide support for Client Conferences, seminars, workshops, and user groups.

Provide support to Education Consultants and Senior Consultants.

Develop new training materials; including classroom, video, self-paced, web-based, conference, and internal course work.

Assist in implementing marketing promotions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Education or related field.

Minimum three years’ experience in financial institution client service, accounting, audit, treasury.

Demonstrated skill in developing and delivering adult education programs; CBT and remote learning facilitation required.

Good understanding of and ability to work with institutional financial statements.

Strong PC skills in a Windows environment with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis programs, databases, and presentation systems.

Knowledge of ALM, organizational and product profitability theory and practices in financial institutions.

Requires 20% - 30% travel

Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
 
Compensation: Base plus monthly incentives
