e-Learning Technical Implementation and Integration Specialist
Summary:
Trifus is searching for an e-Learning Technical Implementation and Integration Specialist with extensive LMS and courseware integration experience who can provide high-quality consulting and project management for a leading managed learning services provider in the training outsource industry.This individual needs to be extremely technically competent, have a track record of successful consulting and have the creative problem solving, planning, organizational and leadership capabilities of an experienced project manager.
This position is highly technical in nature. If you don't know what SCORM is and have never felt pain in an LMS and content integration project, this probably isn't the position for you.
Responsibilities:
Follow established consulting methodologies and deliver projects on time and within budget
Lead the implementation, customization and management of e-Learning projects including, but not limited to, Learning Management Systems implementation and customization, courseware integration and custom courseware development
Assist in or oversee requirements gathering and analysis, business process analysis, design specifications, component, system and performance tests, installation guides, custom training materials and change requests throughout the lifetime of projects
Active participation in business development including technical responses and estimating project scope, costs, duration and resource requirements
Managing customer expectations and communication with sales and development teams
Responsible for maintaining productivity during "bench" time, including in-house product and process development
Periodic travel to customer sites as needed
Provide weekly written status reports, expense reports and other management reports
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Learning Technology or related field
Industry certifications including Project Management or Technology are a plus
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Proven record of delivering consulting projects on time, on budget and with a high degree of professionalism
Minimum of five years experience in the software or e-Learning industry, preferably in a consulting or software development role
Minimum of three years of experience in a project management role
Practical experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and setting priorities
Practical experience with the quality assurance process
Experience with either SumTotal, Docent, Aspen, Saba, Plateau or Oracle LMS is a must
Some web development experience is required, specifically HTML and CSS
Knowledge and Skill Recommendations:
Recent Experience with SumTotal LMS
Experience with integrating Learning Management Systems to ERPs, knowledge management, skills management or other systems
Hands-on experience in courseware development
Experience developing with some or all of the following technologies:
Java Application Servers
Windows Servers, Active Directory
.NET, Web Services
