Workers Compensation and Disability Manager - Band E

This person contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group's success by managing all workers compensation claims and follow-up activities for an assigned geography. This person will also focus on prevention through education and trend analysis.



Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: Monitor all lost time claims. Follow up with employees and location. Management to ensure Transitional Duty positions is available on a daily basis. Expedite and coordinate the return to work process for injured employees. Manage workers' compensation claims administration process with a goal to over deliver results. Communicate frequently via phone (and in person periodically) with location management, injured workers, and insurance adjustors daily. Identify, analyze and explain trends. Present training programs and presentations to field personnel to support the workers' compensation claim management program, results, and trends. Establish relationships with medical care facilities for use by injured employees at each location. REQUIREMENTS




Basic Job Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree 3 plus years Workers compensation claim management experience, including short and long term disability management


Preferred Job Qualifications:State-specific Worker's Compensation law knowledge General understanding of ADA/FMLA/CA Paid Family Leave/HIPPA Previous meeting presentation experience MS office suite proficiency Ability to travel 10-20%
