Vocational Counselor

Vocational Counselor South Metro Human Services has a Vocational Counselor position available in
Anoka County to work on an Assertive Community Treatment team serving adults
with mental illness. Responsibilities include assisting clients seeking
competitive employment, coach interview skills and onsite job coaching.
Candidate must have a minimum of a BA/BS in related field, exp with vocational
counseling and 1 yr exp working with MI/CD individuals. All candidates should
be knowledgeable about various substance abuse treatment modalities such as
harm reduction and motivational interviewing, have good interpersonal skills
and ability to work with and be part of an ACT team. They must be able to
provide on-call crisis intervention, rotate nighttime, evening, weekend and
holiday hours and have own car and a valid Minnesota driver's license. Exc
benefits, $34,500, mileage, tuition and cell phone reimb,. and 4wks pd time
