Valuation Associate - Lease Advisory

The Lease Advisory practice provides consultative services in the real estate industry to both landlord and large corporate tenants.  Landlord client projects include:  due diligence, CAM analysis, lease abstraction and lease administration.  Corporate client projects include:  lease audits, lease abstraction, lease administration and cost reduction projects. 
 
Lease Advisory Associate responsibilities:
Lease Audits
  Perform compliance audits to ensure tenant CAM payments are in line with the lease.
  Write and issue compliance report to Tenant summarizing and supporting findings
Lease Administration / Lease Abstraction
  Review  Corporate Tenant lease administration practices and make recommendations on new or revised policies and procedures
  Abstraction and validation of real estate lease
data
Due Diligence
  Perform financial due diligence and write report in support of findings
  Create, assess and update valuation models using Argus
Other Responsibilities
  Ability to manage projects and staff
  Periodic Business travel required
   Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance required
   1-3 years experience in real estate accounting or property operations required
   Experience in a professional services firm preferred
   Demonstrated ability to structure and perform financial consulting projects, manage client expectations and relationships, and participate in client presentations
   Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
   Ability to analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective
   CPA preferred
   Previous detailed experience in commercial leases and Argus strongly preferredDeloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries ("the Deloitte US Firms") are equal
