Unix Web Admin Needed

Our client is looking for 2 Web System Admins. This person would ideally have 3 to 5 years hands on experience with installation, configuration, performance tuning, etc of iPlanet / SunOne. Similar extensive experience with Apache may work as well.
This person should be expert in jump start imaging, hands on, recent, knowledge of Sun Solaris administration, (Solaris 10 experience is much preferred). This is a 1-3 month consulting position with a possibility of going permanent. This is for the Digital Branch of one of the New York’s largest publications.Start Date: ASAP
Rate: $30-$43 per hour
Location: Midtown NYC
Type: Consult (1-3 Months) to possible Hire
Position: 60% Unix and 40% Windows NTRequirements:
*Support periodic on call responsibilities in support of 24 x 7 environment.*Experience with Sun Solaris, Linux, Sun High Availability, iPlanet / SunOne, TCP/IP networking, UNIX security, system monitoring tools and web servers required.
*C and Korn shell and Perl programming experience a plus.*Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills*Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects on time.*Ability to maintain focus and perspective in a busy, time-critical production environment.They are not looking for someone who has spent the vast majority of time on older platforms or someone who has been pigeon holed in one aspect of administration. (ex. administering user accounts on established systems)
