Travel Media Manager

The Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association, a nonprofit organization located in downtown Baltimore, has an immediate opening for a full-time Travel Media Manager.
Responsibilities include: working closely with travel writers and travel press to develop positive destination-focused stories on Baltimore and the region; hosting familiarization trips for journalists; distributing timely press releases and communications updates that keep the destination top-of-mind for the travel press; and developing seasonal public relations campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidate must have 2- 4 years of public relations agency experience, national and travel media contacts, and strong communication and writing skills.
