Travel Counselor II - PTS MIA

Responsible for providing travel services for American Express Card members in a call center environment. Travel Counselor's are responsible for providing quality service, timely and accurate completion of travel arrangements and the sale of value added services. Assisting the Card member with all travel needs including international and domestic reservations is a primary responsibility. The candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to perform in a team environment. This position requires flexibility to work the overnight shift as determined by customer call volumes and business needs.Job RequirementsMinimum 1+ years selling experience in all areas of travel. SABRE computer reservations experience preferred. Domestic and International destination knowledge required. Ability to work under pressure coupled with an orientation for quality sales. Exceptional customer service skills are a must. This position requires decisive and successful problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use the Internet effectively to service customer needs. Variable shifts available as the Call Center is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
