Responsible for the timely and accurate servicing of International American Express Business Travel arrangements for corporate clients. Duties include: provide business travel services for air/rail transportation, hotels and auto rentals; counsel clients on efficient routes, lowest available fares, exchange rates, travel products/services; ensure optimum customer service through effective use of computer systems and positive telephone service techniques; act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations.Job RequirementsEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions. Minimum 2-years
experience as a travel counselor (level II or III and salary dependent upon experience). Knowledgeable in the areas of destination geography, including expedient, cost effective and preferred travel routes, excellent customer service skills. Apollo or Sabre computer reservation system proficiency/knowledge preferred. International travel experience a requirement. Superior written and verbal communications skills. Team player, ability to work well under pressure.
