Travel Coordinator / Sales Support Assistant
Responsibilities include:
* Coordination of all company travel, including: research for lowest fares on sites such as Orbitz, Hotwire, and Travelocity, booking of travel, lodging, and rental vehicles, researching and booking reservations for trade show booths, and coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure that all appropriate displays and equipment are shipped to the shows. Previous travel coordination experience a plus.
* Support and reporting, including compilation of data using spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel. No Excel programming/macro writing experience necessary.
* Screen applicants for sales and lead generation positions using a supplied questionnaire.
* Research and reserve advertising space in print and online publications. This position is not responsible for ad layouts; graphics experience is a plus but is not required.
* Place outbound calls to existing, satisfied customers to solicit testimonials for use in advertising and marketing materials.
* General administrative work, including answering inbound calls to the switchboard, assistance with direct mail campaigns and online research.
* Perform other tasks as assigned by Vice President of Sales/Marketing and Senior Director of Operations.
* Knowledge of GoldMine CRM is a plus but is not required.
The successful candidate will be an extremely well-organized self-starter and team player who works well under pressure. Attention to detail is crucial.
General Information
Applied Media Technologies Corporation provides a professional, non-smoking office environment. Legal holidays are paid after a 90-day probation period. Group health insurance is available. All full-time employees are provided (after a six-month probationary period) with a $100 per month allowance toward group plan coverage. After one year of employment, AMTC pays 100% of group plan coverage (capped at $200 per month). Paid vacation: one week after one year of employment, two weeks per year after two years of employment.
