Job Description:
Our Transaction Real Estate professionals typically serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, where an individual will primarily assist, in real estate advisory engagements within a fast-paced, service-oriented business environment. Typical engagements include financial analyses, loan underwriting, market due diligence, appraisal and other general real estate advisory services.
Responsibilities Specific responsibilities will include financial modeling, market information research, analysis of real estate documents (including site/building plans, leases, appraisals, and lending documents), performing market studies, and report writing
Execute advisory services fundamentals that include data gathering, interviewing, survey methods, and data analysis. Analyze/process information, and suggest ideas for efficiencies. Communicate information to the engagement team, supervisors, and client personnel.Maintain a strong client focus and maintain/develop productive working relationships with clients. Create work products that document engagement procedures. Learn/apply the client's language and acronyms/industry terms. Stay informed of general business/economic developments in the real estate and financial services industries and assess their impact to the client.Demonstrate teamwork, cooperate with senior and other engagement team members, and productively respond to constructive feedback.Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Respect/protect client information.Bring potential opportunities to the team's attention. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: This opportunity offers the right candidate an excellent environment to learn and tremendous career potential. To qualify, candidates must have: undergraduate degree in real estate, finance, economics, or accounting, and/or an MBA or MRE degree 1-2 years of related work experience background in commercial real estate related to loan underwriting, asset management, finance, and/or real estate valuation is required strong Excel and Word skills, along with working experience using Argus, PowerPoint, and Access basic research skills, and real estate industry knowledgeThe successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel, when necessary.
