Job Description:
As a member of our talented Transaction Real Estate-Hospitality team, the successful candidate in this position as Senior will participate in and supervise multiple client engagements and other related activities. The Senior will apply and expand existing skills to develop and deliver high-quality work products within a fast-paced, service-oriented business environment. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right professional to learn new ideas, adapt to different challenges, and earn gratifying rewards.Responsibilities Our hospitality practice offers the full scope of integrated, multi-disciplinary services including acquisition, development, operations and disposition for every major segment -- from lodging to travel -- from tourism to attraction. We are seeking qualified professionals with five to seven years of related experience.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex real estate concepts. Collaborate to create a plan for determining strategies and accomplishing objectives. Participate in the advisory engagement and communicate complex real estate issues to the team and the client. Stay informed of technical issues and E&Y policies.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Collaborate to plan the engagement. Direct daily fieldwork, inform supervisors of the engagement status, and manage staff performance. Understand and execute advisory services procedures including client interviews, problem analysis, and advanced fact gathering.Manage expectations of deliverables and timing. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and understand their impact to the client.Develop people. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training and conduct performance reviews. Foster an innovative and team-oriented work environment.Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify for this challenging and rewarding position that offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement, candidates must have: an undergraduate degree in real estate, finance, economics, or accounting, and/or an MBA or MRE degree a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, preferably in the hospitality industry proven research skills, and real estate industry knowledge an accounting background is a plus strong analytical, and business writing skillsThe successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel, when necessary.
