Senior Consultant, TrainingBusiness Transformation Group (BTG) Overview:The Business Transformation Group (BTG) is Countrywide’s internal management consulting group charged with executing projects and managing programs that drive measurable results and advance corporate priorities. BTG leads organizational change by driving a culture of continuous improvement and project management through common methodologies, tools, and training that promote positive change and enable employee empowerment.BTG executes capability-building projects by collaborating with Countrywide’s Business Units on strategic priorities. BTG projects provide significant business transformation to the company, yielding step-level change in how the business units operate. BTG utilizes a hypothesis-driven approach to project work, starting our efforts by reaching for the “big changes/answers” followed by the detailed analyses, economics, process flows, etc. to prove or disprove what is right for Countrywide’s business.BTG is a “fast track” environment. Our associates are ambitious, results-oriented, collaborative, and driven to excel. We have high exposure to the various business units at the senior management level. All BTG associates are expected to become experts in Countrywide’s proprietary project management methodology, FASTER PM.The Senior Training Consultant is responsible for providing classroom instruction to Countrywide Financial Corporation (CFC) employees. The Trainer will facilitate classes on project management and continuous improvement methodology, as well as software tools that support project management. In addition to classroom training, sessions will also be delivered through Interwise and e-learning vehicles. The Trainer will support the development of training curriculum, materials and roadmap.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Leading training classes to employees across the Company to facilitate learning around BTG project management, project management tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Supporting students during and after class to help them achieve certification goals.

Supporting the development of training curriculum for classroom and e-learning.

Evaluating and grading class participants.

Continually improving current curriculum through re-design, development and revisions.A successful candidate will have:

Undergraduate degree.

5+ years experience in corporate training.

Understanding of training best practice benchmarks.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Strong problem solving and team building skills.

Ability to apply various learning and training methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations and facilitate groups.

Demonstrated ability to engage audience and identify and resolve barriers to enhance learning.

Ability to ask questions to assist trainees in learning.

Ability to deal constructively with change.

Comfort in speaking in front of all levels of CFC employees.

Enthusiasm for training.The ideal candidate may also possess:

MBA.

Project management or continuous improvement background.

Financial services industry experience.
