Test Script Developer

Currently, we are looking for a Test Script Developer for our direct client. The description of the contract is below.

Title: Test Script Developer
Bill Rate: $43-$55 (W2 Hourly; All-Inclusive)
Location: Tempe, AZ
Duration (months): 6
Start: ASAP

Duties:
The Test Script Developer will plan, design and develop reusable GUI based testing/verification scripts through the use of Rational Software testing tools.
This individual will be responsible for analyzing use cases and test scenarios in order to make the appropriate determination whether the functionality is an ideal candidate for automation.
This position is part of a high-performing team essential to the timely delivery of our products.
Take test scripts that are all ready written and generate code in VB.net to run on Rational Functional Tester.

Mandatory Skills
Must be proficient in Rational Functional Tester (This is fairly new so someone with Rational Robot Test experience and a background in VB.Net programming would be acceptable) developing verification points and data pools with a minimum of 1 year intensive use
1 year experience in designing, testing or automating transactional web-based applications.
2 to 4 years of experience in software development, research, product testing, and product support, with a minimum of 1-year experience with automation.
Minimum 2 years experience developing with VB.net and the .NET framework. (Experience Developing VB.Net test scripts to run on Rational Functional Tester- or someone with Rational Robot/develpoment in Java, and has experience/knowledge in VB. Net)
Strong technical knowledge of testing methodologies, design and implementation having some experience with Automated Testing Methodologies.
Experience developing queries for data extraction in a DB2 database or other relational databases acceptable
3 years experience executing software testing processes
Experience in developing test plans that describe scope, exit criteria, deliverables, version control, issue resolution procedures, reporting, resources, schedule, defect tracking, etc.
Excellent communication skills
