Job Description
Technology Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering technology innovation and providing the backbone of our systems integration business. Technology Architecture professionals have a primary skill focus on translating a business need into a robust and integrated technology solution. Custom Solutions Architecture professionals are skilled in highly prescriptive delivery approaches and methods, and the supporting development and run-time environments required to design, build and deploy custom application solutions. These solutions will often be on J2EE or .NET platforms, and they might leverage Accenture delivery assets like GRNDS or ACA.NET. Individuals within this specialty typically support delivery of high-volume, mission critical custom business applications. However, they might also assist a client’s IT organization with enterprise architecture strategies and development efforts.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Becoming familiar with common, relevant architecture frameworks and being able to use them in diagnosing and assessing architectures
• Assisting in contributing to the high level design in constructing a robust technology solution, taking into account the user requirements, technical requirements, etc.
• Performing portions of technology architecture and infrastructure design activities
• Participating in performing portions of technology build, test and deployment activities
• Assisting in refining and enhancing architecture and framework
• Participating in troubleshooting and debugging technology integration problems

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years experience with J2EE or .NET architectures and object oriented programming languages (Java, C#, C++)
• Skills in architecture design and application server development
• Performance testing experience
• Ability to travel up to 100%
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Science
• Based in one of the following areas: New York, Florham Park, Reston, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, El Segundo, San Francisco or St. Louis
