Spherion is currently looking for Technical Support Representatives for Dell, Inc. in Nashville, TN. This a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a great company!!



Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, over the phone, for customers on operation or maintenance of Dell products. This is a fast pace call center, where you will be assisting customers, troubleshooting to determine problems, and providing resolutions. Customer satisfaction is key, so you must be able to effectively handle custom problems. When needed, proper escalation procedures are to be followed.



The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues. You must be able to work independently to determine the best method to resolving customer issues, using creative and innovative approaches where established criteria does not exist. Assignments will be unique in nature, requiring the ability to resolve moderate to complex technical issues.



The Ideal Candidate must possess:



Industry Certification such as A+, MCP, MCSE (preferred)

Strong background in PC hardware

Strong background in PC troubleshooting

Strong background in Microsoft Operating Systems

Excellent telephone skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Able to handle stressful situations and to professionally handle upset customers.

Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.





Hours:



This is a help desk environment. The call center is open 24/7. While you must have 24/7 availability, in general, you will be scheduled between the hours of 6am until 1am. YOUR SHIFT WILL FLEX WITH NO GAUR AN TEE OF A FIRST, SECOND OR THIRD SHIFT.



PAY and BENEFITS:



While with Spherion, your rate of pay will be $12.50 - $13.50 per hour with a 10% shift differential for any shift starting AFTER 2pm. We pay weekly. Spherion offers Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and Life Insurance. You are eligible to enroll for benefits between day 30 and day 60 of your assignment.
