Our Human Capital practice focuses on assisting clients in managing the cost and risks involved in their Human Resource plans, programs and systems. Within Human Capital, Global Mobility professionals work with our clients in administering their international assignment programs by delivering expatriate tax filing and assignment-related calculations; developing and implementing policies and strategic tax planning solutions; assisting clients with program administration (piecemeal or full outsouring); advising on employee compensation, including foreign payroll issues, international implications of equity plans, etc.; and providing other international assignment-related projects/services. We currently have a career opportunity for a Tax Staff professional in our Global Mobility practice. Staff utilize cutting-edge technology and work with team-oriented colleagues. Responsibilities Learn and continuously increase understanding of expatriate tax issues. Prepare accurate, quality US tax returns for assignees. Prepare international assignment-related calculations such as tax cost projections, tax equalization calculations, hypothetical tax calculations, etc. Research various topics such as technical or treaty interpretation/application, regulatory issues, and payroll matters; prepare related communications for the client for the supervisor’s review. Develop collaborative relationships with our clients and internal colleagues. Develop client service, engagement and financial management skills. Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in a related field general knowledge or coursework in tax laws excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability strong written and verbal communication skills a commitment to learning and a tax technology environment PC proficiency, including MS Office
