A company's "people investment" is one of its most significant investments and EY's Human Capital practice focuses on helping clients better manage the cost and risk of their HR plans, programs and systems. Global Mobility professionals focus on helping clients with their international assignment programs. Services range from delivering expatriate tax returns, to assessing a client's vendor, to completely outsourcing its assignment administration. We also advise on the tax and HR implications of certain transactions involving global executives and HR policies.We currently have a career opportunity for an expatriate senior representative to be responsible for providing the full range of service coordination to client personnel on international assignments (both U.S. and foreign), serving as a primary contact during the international assignment.Responsibilities
Train and mentor staff and other client-serving professionals on specifics of the engagement.Work with an account manager on process improvement activities.Serve as the primary contact with the international assignee and family throughout the entire international assignment, providing support by researching matters, resolving problems, and maintaining working knowledge of the client program.Participate in new business development and new client transition activities.Initiate and assure the completion of pre-departure activities for personnel going on international assignments, according to client policy, including conducting policy orientation; arranging for work permits and/or visas; and relocation vendor coordination.Perform international compensation calculations, including the calculation of hypothetical tax and assignment-related allowances such as cost of living and housing.Coordinate all tax-related aspects of the client personnel's international assignments with the tax return preparer.Create individual letters of assignment and cost estimates, according to the terms of the assignment, client policy and special circumstances as appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in communications, business, human resources, international studies or a related field; master's degree preferred 2-4 years of experience in international business, client relations, human resources, accounting, or a related field the ability to utilize technology-based tools, such as client server, electronic mail, call tracking system, and database or groupware tools to perform job functions in accordance with Global Mobility guidance working knowledge of foreign assignment matters, including payroll issues, relocation and housing, taxes, and compensation; working knowledge of world geography, languages, and cultural issues excellent communication skills in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to organize/handle multiple priorities with attention to detail computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic mail; Lotus Notes proficiency a plus
