Tax Counsel International Taxes - Fort Worth

AmericanAirlines, a company known and respected for innovation, service, and leadership is looking for qualified individual to fill the position of Tax Counsel International Taxes.

The Tax Counsel's primary responsibilities are to represent AA’s tax position throughout our Mexico Caribbean Latin America (MCLA) division. Manages resolution of tax audits, analysis and advocacy of tax legislation and tax litigation. This person will work directly with AA MCLA management, outside counsel and lobbyists to protect AA’s interests on tax matters. Technical tax duties will cover general federal domestic research, planning and controversy support and non-US audits, controversies and legislation.

REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate:
Must have Juris Doctor degree, with LL.M. or CPA preferred
1-6 years experience with corporate tax law in a law firm, government, large accounting firm or in-house environment
Should be fluent in Spanish and be culturally oriented
Have experience in general federal tax law
