Corporation has an opening in Farmington, Connecticut for a Travel Commodity Manager.Responsible for the management, development and implementation of a wide range of business support related to the Travel commodity. Manage global teams across UTC business units to implement key initiatives associated with the travel team.Maintain cognizance of emerging technologies and business trends for Travel services in the commodity and incorporatres these into the commodity's strategic plan. Develop and oversee the evaluation and methods for tracking usage and cost reduction achieved within the business unit. Must possess at least a Bachelor's or its equivalent in Business or a related field and
relevant work experience.Experience must include: strategy development for sourcing, including market assessment analysis; inter-
national contract sourcing and negotiation management; procurement / evaluation of competitive bidding, including project management; working in a multi-
cultural environment managing global cross - functional project teams; supporting a
variety of programs/projects concurrently under time constraints; and ability to prepare and present regular reports to Senior Management.Please forward resume to:
