Consultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions.  Responsibilities include, among others, performing current state analysis, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.  Consultants develop exposure and familiarity with
multiple industries while achieving task and skill competence in the tool sets and services of the practices within the firm. Consultants will assist in proposal development, as requested.
 
Candidates selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
* 2+ years of related experience
* OO design and methodology
* Java and J2EE server-side development skills with an understanding of Web Services architecture and design
* Experience with one of the following application servers: WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle 9i, Sun ONE
* Understanding of and experience with UML and RUP
* Experience gathering user requirements and writing design documents, participating in JAD sessions, writing and executing unit and system tests
* Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
* Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify
and resolve key issues
* Strong sense of ownership and commitment
* Willingness to travel
* Undergraduate degree required.
