System Engineer

System Engineer Location: Delaware

Their products are used by thousands of customers throughout the world and they are highly recognized as one of the top companies in their field. We are currently seeking a Pre-sales Systems Engineer candidate in the Delaware area with IP/wireless experience for this great opportunity:


Position responsibilities:
Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.
Coordinate all technical sales activities related to perspective accounts.
Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers and partners
Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical/Business Knowledge/Skills:
Pre-Sales experience with IP/wireless products.
Experience with Network design and architecture.
Knowledge of baseline SE skills and in training to acquire knowledge in one area of specialization.
Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience with wired and wireless networking technologies.
Ability to install CE 4.x , CE.net, PPC, and Palm operating systems and effectively diagnose systems (and above) level issues.
Understanding of SNMP, MSS Architecture, RMON and TMN.
Experience with project management and resource tracking techniques.
CCNP & CCDP (or equivalents) certifications a huge plus but not a must.
Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member. Demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills.
Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams.
Ability to perform tasks with minor supervision.
Demonstrate ability to implement, drive and track projects.
