Our Strategy & Operations practice helps clients make major strategic decisions and implement business improvements in areas such as customer relationships, supply chain, mergers & acquisitions, financial management, program leadership and more.  As a consultant on this team, you will lend your expertise to help offer a broad scope of services to help clients address the full range of top management issues - customer strategy, merger and acquisition strategy, supply chain optimization, investment prioritization, financial and performance management, IT strategy and more.

As a Sr. Consultant, you will perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.  You will apply your knowledge of business strategy, business operations, process analysis & design, and technology to solve client needs.   You will manage and lead clients through complex programs utilizing effective management of business value, risk, content, communication, knowledge and resources.  As a part of the Health Plan, you will leverage your functional business and industry knowledge
to solve the specific needs of our clients in this industry area.
 
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Analysis, design and implementation of business processes, procedures and policies
- Development of business requirements to support process and technology change
- Creation of management frameworks and programs to help clients fully absorb and integrate change
- Assess client business, operations and technology strategies 
- Analyze client value chains
- Assist in preparation of budgets and work plans, includes determination of project scope and approach
- Apply knowledge of design, development and implementation of technology in conjunction with business process changeCandidates for Sr Consultant in our Strategy & Operations practice typically come from large consulting firms or industry leading corporations.  Your experience and capabilities should include:
- 4+ years of experience analyzing, designing and implementing
large-scale business solutions
- Experience developing detailed cost / benefit projections and project plans for associated change (includes project scope, objectives, timelines and deliverables)
- Experience leading mixed teams of clients and contractors
- Solid experience in Managed Care / Payor Operations
- Experience within specific operations such as:
- claims administration
- membership
- billing
- etc.
- Experience should include driving innovative approaches and solutions across the value chain of:
§         Sales and Distribution networks
§         Pricing and Risk Mgt
§         Care decision support
§         Customer Care
§         Medical management
§         Network Management
§         Claims Management
§         Membership accounting
 
- Experience with Health Plan product development/enhancement/packaging a plus
- Ability to understand the big picture of a
business situation and how to identify and resolve key issues
- Strong analytic and research skills
- Very high attention to detail
- Stellar work ethic, working hard to drive results
- Ability to accommodate client travel up to 100% (typically 4/1)
