Category Management focused on cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Interested in performing strategic sourcing, accounts receivable improvement and revenue enhancement. Projects span virtually all industries: financial services, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and services. Clients span all sizes including the world's largest and most recognized companies, middle market companies, and organizations less than $1 billion.As a member of the client service delivery team, works with client personnel and BearingPoint team members and assists in the development, direction, and execution of analysis and implementation of profit improvement strategies. Works at client site majority of week. Daily contact with client personnel executives. Responsible for managing client satisfaction and internal team satisfaction. When not on an engagement, proactively works under senior team members in business development efforts such as identifying, preparing and presenting proposals training and team development activities.Basic skills/competencies required include:
Minimum 2 years of consulting experience, preferably in sourcing or procurement; and/or sourcing/procurement experience

Demonstrated strong Analytical skills

Technical skills-at least 1 year experience with the following (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access) and exposure to Ariba or SAP sourcing and procurement tools preferred

Presentation skills (e.g. presents themselves in a professional manner, creates sound work product in PowerPoint)

Client management skills-must have at least 1 yr experience working with various levels

Communication skills (e.g. written and verbal communication is clear, concise, honest and straightforward)

Time management –completes work in a timely manner and under deadlines.Education
Undergraduate degree required. Accounting, finance, or economics backgrounds preferred.Logistics:
Weekly travel required about 75% of the time
