State Filings Project Coordinator/Production Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perr & Knight is looking for a Project Coordinator and a Production Technician to submit insurance filings to State Departments of Insurance on behalf of our clients, while ensuring that our State Filings departmental requirements are complied with.

The ideal candidate should be able to handle several projects simultaneously, work within a strict deadline environment, and assist peers whenever needed. They should be responsible and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and adjust workload accordingly. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are a must as well as their ability to maintain complete and informative notes in our project tracking database.

The position entails reviewing property and casualty insurance filing materials for accuracy, researching state filing requirements, and acting as a liaison between our clients and the Insurance Departments.
REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Project management skills
- Desire to take ownership of a project
- Familiarity with MS Windows 2000 or higher, Proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Property-Casualty industry a plus
