Staff Consultant 2

CH2M HILL has an immediate opening for a Staff Consultant 2 in our Baton Rouge, LA or New Orleans, LA office.

Position requires a BS degree in an Engineering, Geology or Science discipline. This position requires over 3 years experience of site investigation methods (monitoring well installation design and construction, soil and groundwater sampling, etc.), RECAP investigations and closures, CERCLA/RCRA process, remedial investigations, and remediation technologies. Knowledge and experience of free phase investigation methods (DNAPL and LNAPL) is useful. Must have strong technical writing and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment, and provide some technical guidance, is required. Client interaction and ability to contribute to client relationships, is required. Person can work out of the Baton Rouge office or New Orleans office.

BS degree in Engineering, Geology or Science discipline from a US accredited university or college.


Three (3) years relevant experience.


Experience to include, but is not limited to, site investigation methods (monitoring well installation design and construction, soil and groundwater sampling, etc.), RECAP investigations and closures, CERCLA/RCRA process, remedial investigations, and remediation technologies .
