FTI has 25 offices in major US cities, and offices in Europe, Asia and Australia with a total workforce of more than 1,400 employees.This Sr. Technical Support Specialist (Systems Administrator)position is a part of FTI’s Corporate Technology Operations practice in Annapolis, MD.
Position Responsibilities:
•Provide as principal technical support and leadership for all FTI clients•Resolve and investigate all reported user problems - determine fault; engage appropriate resources to resolve; update users of resolution and time estimates for correction.•Assist in Daily operations of Hosted Applications including data loading and monitoring•Participate in vendor relationships and management as appropriate•Participate in FTI employee relationships at various levels of seniority.•Administer all aspects of User Accounts and access using Active Directory, RSA SecureID and Custom Applications.•Assist in the development/update of internal and end-user documentation.•Understand and track appropriate chain of custody•Evangelize new FTI solutions and ensure prompt and accurate resolution of technical challenges and business issues.•Build successful long-term relationship with clients.
REQUIREMENTS
•3-4 years Helpdesk experience including:
oTechnical Support for SQL-database Applications
oExcellent Phone Manner
oExperience administering user accounts in Active Directory
oExperience Supporting Citrix•1-2 years database administration background
•Proficiency with Windows Server OS, MS Access, MS Office, MS Outlook•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must not be nervous to speak with clients daily.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.•Ability to provide excellent client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations
•Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
•Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with senior business management and peers.
•Efficient and effective problem resolution abilities; ability to think clearly under pressure
•Excellent working knowledge of industry standards and technology
•Ability to travel when requested up to 20%. Must possess sufficient credit to meet travel requirements of the job (i.e. rental cars, hotel accommodation, meals while on work assignments, etc).
•Technical Writing / Documentation Skills
•Train and mentor JR staff
•Must be flexible re: shift hours.
•BA/BS or comparable work experienceSkills Preferred:•Understanding of legal terminology and litigation objectives
•Understanding internet and web server infrastructure•Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application and systems issues
•Active Directory 2003 scripting experience
•Knowledge of Active Directory schema, group policy, domain functional levels and object editor
•Familiarity with enterprise network architecture
•Experience troubleshooting, supporting and resolving problems within a enterprise web-based environment
•RSA SecureID Administration is a plus
•Previous experience or exposure to litigation support technologies is a plus ( Ringtail, Concordance, etc)
•Citrix administration experience a plus
