Sr. Manager, Tax Efficiency Consulting Services (TECS)

If so, we are looking for you to join Clifton Gunderson as a Senior Manager of Tax Efficiency Consulting Services (TECS) of our One Wisconsin Client Service Center (CSC), with a home base in our Milwaukee office.


In this new role, we are looking for your visionary thinking and leadership savvy to lead the TECS practice and maintain the highest standards of excellence for the firm on tax efficiency consulting services engagements. It is with your outstanding technical knowledge that you will build, supervise and develop the One Wisconsin TECS team by recruiting, developing, and retaining tax consulting professionals that can assist in the Indianapolis CSC’s TECS practice growth. As an accomplished project manager, you will perform in-depth tax research and provide expert counsel to others regarding the CSC’s TECS practice. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership for team talent assessment and developing a staffing plan and overall method of operations.


Display your exceptional communication skills to champion, develop, organize and articulate TECS initiatives to a broad audience, including Partners, professional staff, and external clients, ensuring consistency with the One Wisconsin CSC’s business objectives. Showcase your successful business development skills as you collaborate with the firm’s other TECS Practice Leaders to build revenue pipelines that include tax solution services to be provided to existing clients as well as proactively identify and present opportunities to prospective clients.


Demonstrate your 8-10 years of experience of business entity tax consulting (experience with “Big 4” firm preferred), including growing a tax consulting practice with a large firm and proven success in promoting and providing project oriented tax solutions, and we will present you with an opportunity you cannot pass up. We will also look for your strong PC skills including Excel, Prosystems, Word and other professional software. These talents along with your CPA licensure and masters degree in Taxation or Juris Doctor will put you on the road to success.
