The Senior Financial Data Analyst will play a lead role in developing and implementing the Data Quality Framework within the overall Corporate Data Strategy. Responsibilities include assisting the Director in:



  Developing short and long-term corporate standards for finance data quality and integrity, especially the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of Financial Data Warehouse (FDW) data from all sources



Devise end-to-end solutions governing the integrity of all data transaction flows, from trade entry through GL reporting



Develop policies and standards for grading data quality at completeness at different stages of processing



Provide certified and validated data for FDW customers



Manage financial metadata, especially the development of a single corporate data dictionary



Implement flexible product classification schemas across assets, debt and derivatives



Promote internal and external reporting consistency on the composition of our book of business

REQUIREMENTS


MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting preferable, with Technology degree and equivalent work experience in financial systems accepted.



Candidate must have at least three years of progressively responsible experience, in finance or accounting capacity, GL reporting function in a financial institution, or in financial data warehouse operations.



Strong proficiency in fixed-income, mortgage or derivative data analysis. Financial data reconciliation is required.



  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to the position. Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.
