This role also provides support and feedback to all of the internal groups within webMethods as appropriate. In addition to acting as a project lead and senior member of consulting teams for customer engagements.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:Strong demonstrated consulting skills and customer focus (Minimum of 5 years in customer facing consulting is required).
Recent and proven webMethods experience
Project Management/Leadership
Effective communications, presentation, organizational and planning skills
Experience with Java, system design, Rosettanet, EDI and Application to application integration.
Proven experience with e-commerce and web integration principles, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), middleware, or other integration experience at the enterprise level
Experience developing Web Services and an understanding of Service-oriented Architecture (SOA)
Willingness to take on new challenges and new environments on a frequent basis
Familiar with Portals and Portal Development
Ability and desire to learn new technologiesSignificant depth of expertise in three or more of the following areas:
Java/C++/object oriented programming and Distributed computing
XML exposure, development using XMLRDBMS (any of Oracle, Informix, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase)Unix or NT experienceEAI, middleware, or other integration experience at the enterprise level
E-commerce, web servers (Netscape, Microsoft) or web-application servers
Vertical applications/industry experience helpful (any of the following):
CRM (Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, other)
ERP (PeopleSoft, SAP, Baan, Oracle Applications, JDE)
Telecommunications, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Automotive
E-Commerce (Broadvision, ATG, B2B or other)
RosettaNet
MRO Procurement, Supply chain, or logistics business process reengineering/strategy.College degree is required.5+ Years of relevant industry experience.Willingness to travel ' mostly regional (80%).
