I. Job Summary:This person provides communication counsel, planning,project management and creative development in supportof business and corporate goals.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required tosuccessfully manage multiple projects and integrateefforts with other initiatives throughout the company, whileworking closely with business partners.Creative development responsibilities may include writingand editing of promotional brochures and materials,member publications, public relations tactics, media releases,articles, videos, events, speeches, Internet andother communications tactics.II. Accountabilities:Consults with business partners to develop comprehensivestrategic communications plans and project plans in supportof business goals and brand objectives.Serves as project manager for assigned communication projects.Identifies barriers and uses problem-solving skills to keep projects on track.Executes communication tactics: Researches, develops, writesand edits materials for internal and external audiences.Manages business partner relationships for assigned projects;serves as a member of integrated communication teams;represents the department on various internal and external committees and workgroups.Evaluates effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics and share results.
REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:Bachelors degree preferably in the communications, marketing orjournalism field and 5+ years of experience facilitating groups, managing projects, and writing skills or 9+ years of experience facilitating groups, managing projects, and writing skills in lieu of a degree.Strong research, problem-solving and analytical skills.Demonstrated interpersonal skills for working with businesspartners, vendors and cross-functional teams and for making formal presentations.Excellent project and time management skills for juggling manychanging priorities and working under tight deadlines.Demonstrated writing and general public relations skills.Demonstrated personal computer skills in the use of asuite of software tools (such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)and project management tools.Knowledge of Blue Cross preferred.
