As part of the Global Capture group within BearingPoint you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is focused on "Driving to Win" by melding business, management, technical, competitive and cost elements for winning proposals. You will be responsible for driving complex system implementation sales pursuits by
oDefining and sizing the solution (Ability to understand the business strategy and requirements to create a enterprise wide complex system implementation technology solution that may have multiple technologies is required)
oEstimating the effort employing multiple estimation models
oCraft an appropriate delivery approach (onshore vs. offshore, partner and/or subcontractor)
oIdentify and document the risks associated with the delivery of the solution
Working collaboratively with technology solution teams and delivery teams to create/catalog
oStandard solution architecture templates
oEstimation models
oRisk mitigating assumptions
oReusable solution assetsPosition Specific Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (Master's preferred) in the field of Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Management or other related discipline.

A minimum of 10 years of work experience with at least 6 years in IT consulting industry with a recognized IT system integrator

A minimum of 5 years experience in a sales role with complex sales efforts to define the solution, created the delivery model and estimate effort

Deep technology expertise in either one of popular ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, Siebel) and/or custom system development (J2EE or .Net)

3+ years project manager experience

Should have delivered at least 2 multi phase engagements in a leadership role (Team leader, Project Manager, Solution Architect etc.)

3+ years experience negotiating offshore development deals

3+ years experience with industry standard cost estimation models is a plus (COCOMO II, SLIM etc.)Preferred Skills:

Should be comfortable in an environment of change and needs to be able to “Think on their feet”

Must be a team player

Must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills

Must demonstrate very good oral and written communication skills

Must be skilled at customer presentations

Good business knowledge about an industry is a definite plusLogistics:

Willing to travel (70-80% travel requirement)
