Software Test Engineer - Level 3 - UI Testing and Scripting

This team is looking for a strong end-to-end Tester who is passionate about working with new communication technology. The Software Giant is looking for people who want to use cutting edge technologies to enhance information worker productivity, by giving them more control over the way they want to communicate in real-time.


Daily Duties:
Perform manual UI testing
Execute test plans
Troubleshoot network issues
Debug as needed

Requirements:



Required Skills for this Software Design Engineer position will include:
Strong manual Tester
Knowledge of product life cycle
Ability to troubleshoot network issues
Good basic debugging skills
Ability to script in some language(VB script, PERL, Java script etc)

Bonus Skills:
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
WTT knowledge
Previous experience at Redmond's Software Giant
Experience running test automation
Security experience (firewalls, antivirus, etc.)
Experience with 3rd party OSes(Linux etc.)
