Role: Livelink Adminstrator

Objectives

Support the existing support organization within Client

Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support on all Livelink issues

Deliver Livelink Technical Administration activities

Assist with defining/building administration and support policies and

procedures

Coach the Client Support/Administration team on a daily basis in the

delivery of Livelink support

Support the future project / implementation teams with any support

issues during the implementation and rollout of the Livelink environment

Off-site activities will be done by a combination of telephone and remote

access as granted by Client.

Daily Activities

Service Desk, Incident and Problem Management

Perform day to day 2nd and 3rd Level technical support and

troubleshooting.

Coach the Client Support/Administration team with the delivery of Livelink

support.

Review current open tickets with standard Open Text support.

Release Management

Troubleshooting of new issues brought up during development and

support of the development process through installation of test systems,

installation of new code drops, and analysis of logs when errors occur.

Provided a consistent bridge between different project development teams

and Client IT resources, ensuring scheduling of change to systems are

performed at the right time and in the most efficient manner.

Upgrades and patches are reviewed for applicability to Client as soon as

they become available within Open Text.

Perform technical configuration changes for the Livelink application.

Installation of modules and patches.

Availability Management

Perform day to day monitoring as is in place at Client.

Capacity Management

Perform day to day capacity monitoring to determine if capacity thresholds

are being reached.

Perform System Performance Reporting as required.
REQUIREMENTS


This resource will provide technical application management and support for the

Client’s Livelink 9.5 environment. This person will supplement the current in-house

Livelink Support/Administration team.

This person will have knowledge of Livelink internals, interfaces, operating system,

web system and database environment.
