Software Installation Consultant/Senior

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: This position will initially focus on deployment of the Web Framework/Advanced Web application. Working within the team environment, the Implementation Consultant is responsible for achieving all defined project objectives and milestones. She/he is responsible for the implementation of IDX software for one or more assigned implementations, ensuring that implementations are completed in a timely and quality manner in accordance with our standards and the customer's success criteria. The Implementation Consultant must demonstrate the ability to present and discuss IDX Product knowledge, system options and to provide industry relevant examples on an extemporaneous basis with clients and other team members. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for developing effective working relationships with the clients, through on site visits and conference calls. She/he must understand client needs and communicates them effectively and in a timely manner. She/he must also demonstrate a high level of composure, professionalism, and knowledge of healthcare and business environments, and be able to identify risk and recommend models for client success. This position requires the ability to negotiate conflicts to an expeditious and satisfactory resolution for both the client and IDX.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Requires knowledge of Microsoft tools (Power Point, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel).
Must have the ability to travel up to 80%.Desired: * Experience in healthcare environment or healthcare information technology desired.
Prior customer support or system implementation experience desired.
