Software Developer - .NET (Mid Level)

Fast Switch is an IT recruiting firm in business since 1996. We provide consulting services and executive search to several Fortune 100 and niche clients on a national level.
Our client is a software company that has a culture of a start-up and backing of a 25 yr old industry leader. We have an immediate need for Senior level .Net Consultant on a contract-to-hire basis at their Connecticut location.
As a part of the software product development team you will be is involved in all phases on the SDLC, from requirements gathering to design, development and QA. Developing new application and moving legacy applications to .Net. Strong coding, design and database skills are important.Note: we are open to W2, 1099 and corp to corp arrangements.
REQUIREMENTS
To qualify you must have:* Minimum of 5 years of Microsoft technology experience with 7-8 yrs of total experience.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies, preference given to proven knowledge through Microsoft certifications.
* ASP.Net and C#.Net development experience
* Must have experience with XML, Web Services
* Strong experience with SQL and experience in pulling data from various sources: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2.
* Direct experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 / 2005.
* Microsoft .NET 1.1 / 2.0 Framework
* UML, OOAD, Data modeling concepts
* Very good communication skills - written and spoken are required.
