Local to Lansing, MI
Will provide relocation to MI if necessary.Position would provide ongoing Siebel application support and maintenance of all the Siebel environments, including application monitoring, issue resolution, and working with the appropriate technical support staff (internal and vendor) for Public sector call center 7.5.X environments. Candidate provides support for the Siebel development, test, and conversion environments. Candidate would play a role in the creation of new technical environments and establishing appropriate standards and strategies for these environments. Candidate would architect and implement environment consolidation from time-to-time. Candidate would lead in application release process. Candidate would be responsible for managing Siebel servers, monitoring the logs and statistics reports. Candidate would update the server software as appropriate, providing backup and disaster recovery, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems in order to provide a reliable Siebel environment for end users. Candidate would assist in release and migration planning. Candidate would interact with telephony lead/expert, client's infrastructure team and with Siebel developers on day-to-day issues and release oriented tasks.1.Three to five years of experience in Siebel having worked on 7.5.X or 7.8.X implementation/support & maintenance/upgrade projects.
2.Experience installing, configuring, and tuning Siebel Server, Siebel Gateway, Siebel Web Server Extensions, Siebel Database Server, and Siebel File System. Version 7.x is required.
3.Experience in upgrading from 6.x to 7.x or 7.0.x. to 7.5.x/7.8.x.
4.Strong Server component tuning and administration skills.
5.Tuning and performance improvement skills in a Siebel 7.x environment.
6.Siebel EAI, EIM, Data model, entity relationships, repository tables’ knowledge is desired.
7.Windows System administration skills.
8.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9.Siebel 7 certification would be a big plus.
10.Apply appropriate design and software development methodologies to design, code, test, implement, and modify systems.
11.Prepare, write, and review system documentation.
12.Perform technical proposal analysis, design, and drafting
13.Perform application testing, fail over and fail back testing, monitoring and issue resolution.
.Required Industry Experience:
Prior experience in Public Sector is very desirable but not mandatory. Certification as a Siebel Core Consultant is a big plus.This work is in support of goverment agencies and US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
