Siebel Consultant / Siebel Technical Lead

The Technical Lead will have
responsibility for the successful implementation and integration of
Front Office application products at a customer site from project
initiation to full customer production rollout. In this capacity
he/she will be expert in Siebel application
functionality, technology and implementation in order to provide
his/her accounts and teams with a combination of technical
consulting, project management, training, and mentoring.

Position Responsibilities
• Plan, control, and coordinate the development of multiple
system projects from the project initiation phase, taking the
concepts and following through to a successful deployment
• Establish and define the theoretical basis and principles for
estimating project effort and duration, while analyzing customer
needs and recommending appropriate technical solutions
• Identify major milestones and establish critical path within
the project plan while monitoring and reporting progress toward
milestones on a daily or weekly basis as required
• Serve as customer liaison on project facilitating daily and
weekly project review meetings with clients and team members
• Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed to ensure
timely delivery in line with client expectations, ensuring that
tight schedules are met
• Take meticulous notes and distribute reports, so as to
thoroughly articulate issues and to escalate resolutions.
• Consult with internal and external/client Technical
Specialists and Technical Leads to clearly determine the roles and
requirements of each consultant involved in the project/solution,
while reviewing technical work for accuracy
• Foster and maintain good relationships with IT colleagues,
both internal and external
• Seek out and champion new development, configuration and
implementation efforts within current engagements providing
clients with long term value via technological and process
modifications
• Exceed expected customer service levels
REQUIREMENTS
• Development/implementation/configuration experience required
• 3+ years of Siebel experience is
required, certification preferred
• 5+ years of consulting experience within the IT industry
• 1.5+ years of Tech lead or project lead experience
implementing applications with the ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously
• Solid experience managing/leading multiple teams on
implementations of 5+ people
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to express
complex business concepts in technical terms via presentation and
written form.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and
problem-solving skills
• Ability/Willingness to travel 100%
• Bachelors degree in EE, computer science, math/science or
MIS/CIS is required, MBA preferred.
