Services Management Consultants
BearingPoint's Infrastructure Solutions Services Management (SM) practice provides strategy, assessment, design/redesign and implementation solutions for Life Sciences, Financial Services, Utilities, and the Communications industries in the areas of Service Assurance, process re-engineering, Service Desk implementations, Storage Resource Management, and Information Lifecycle Management.Responsibilities:
Contribute to one or more Services Management projects through assessment, design and/or implementation phases
Work on the design and implementation of multiple IT management technologies.
Provide assessment of client processes and technologies for used for the management of IT services, applications, systems, storage and networks.
Contribute to one or more of the following areas:
Assessment, Design and implementation of IT management technologies (HP Openview, CA Unicenter, Tivoli, EMC Control Center, etc.)
Assessment, Design and implementation of IT management processes (e.g. Incident Management, Change Management, Service Level Management, Capacity Management, etc)
Contribute to and/or lead the development of client deliverables such as assessment reports, requirement documents, technical architectures/designs, IT process flows, operational procedures, training plans, and more.Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
1-10 years experience in IT operations and/or support
1-10 years professional experience installing and configuring one or more leading IT management tools (e.g. Remedy, HP OpenView, HP Service Desk - Magic, Micromuse, BMC, Tivoli, CA Unicenter, EMC Control Center,- Peregrine-Etc) - certifications are a plus
1-10 years professional experience in operational IT processes design and improvement (e.g. ITIL - ITPM - eTOM - HPSM , TOM, Six Sigma) - certifications are a plus
Preferred locations: Northeast (NY, NJ, MA) or Mid Atlantic (DC, MD, NC, VA).
Must be willing to travel up to 100% Monday through Thursday.
