Job Description:
This position consults about and develops materials that communicate important issues, strategies, and messages within the Transaction Advisory Services organization, one of the three service lines of EY. These individuals advise on communications vehicles and strategies, and may take the lead in developing those communications and strategies. Responsibilities Work closely with internal groups to understand communication needs and to develop communication and promotional strategies. Set and maintain high standards. Build and maintain close working relationships with clients. Recommend how best to execute communications, educating clients on best practices and selecting appropriate media channels. Develop articles and other communications materials. Manage multiple projects. Maintain and leverage knowledge about the firm, how it operates and what its strategies are. Work and interact with senior management on high-profile projects. Maintain and continuously improve knowledge and ability to work with technology. Receives general supervision and is expected to work independently. Occasionally supervises staff members indirectly and on a project-by-project basis, in the development and implementation of applications and programs to fulfill client and project needs. Knowledge and Skills The position requires well-developed writing and editing skills; a considerable understanding of communication strategy; an ability to juggle competing priorities; and a knowledge of both the firm and the communications tools and techniques available within the firm. Often, what they need to accomplish is clearly stated, but how they get it done is largely determined by their own judgment. Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience approximately 6+ years of work experience
