The Senior Human Resources Manager is a strategic business partner, providing HR consulting and support to the Business Unit (BU). The incumbent in this position serves as part of the management team of the BU, offering HR related expertise and guidance. The BU Senior Human Resource Manager partners with Corporate HR departments to plan, direct and implement all HR functions throughout the Business Unit, including: employee relations, compensation, benefits,performance management, and separations.
Develops and implements HR plans, programs and annual processes in support of BU objectives; implements Corporate HR policies and practices consistent with federal, state and local guidelines; assists management in identifying, analyzing and resolving human resources and organizational issues; conducts internal investigations of complaints, as needed; works with managers to develop their skills in coaching, counseling and motivating employees.
Reviews personnel actions, including merit increases, promotions, disciplinary actions, etc. to determine appropriateness; communicates with BU management and Corporate HR regarding all actions and potential problems; drives people initiatives in the BU to build morale, connectivity and teamwork.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
7-10 years of senior level HR generalist/employee relations experience in a services related industry. Experience in consulting field strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of local, state and federal labor regulations. Influencing / negotiation / mediation and problem solving skills.
