Solution Consultant - IT Services - Retail Banking Background

Solution Consultants fulfill a senior leadership role. Solution Consultants are technology oriented business people who understand all aspects of outsourcing and build convincing business cases for their proposed technology solution. Solution Consultants partner with Sales to lead the sales support team in the opportunity support process.

Solution Consultants own all aspects of solution development. This includes development of the solution business case, financial justification, value proposition, proposal, and detailed scope of work. As senior team leaders, solution consultants are required to a value and explain to the client why this is the best technology and business solution.

Occupying a highly visible position in the company, Solution Consultants have the responsibility and the authority to innovate, to bring new, high margin solutions to the marketplace and help us build a global brand. Leading a support team consisting of subject matter experts and other support resources, solution consultants are expected to lead the solution development strategy for client opportunities by:

§ Defining solutions to solve the client's business problems

§ Leading the communication of value and benefits to both technical and business focused buyers.

§ Leading teams in the development of client proposals, execution of due diligence, and development of statements of work

§ Creating and delivering excellent client presentations

§ Proven team building and leadership ability.

The successful candidates will posses significant experience in the financial and banking industry or working with large retail chains. Candidates will either have direct experience successfully selling, marketing or delivering retail and commercial banking solutions or IT solutions to big box retailers. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of designing technology oriented solutions that solve business problems. This skill set must be coupled with an outstanding ability to communicate value and benefits to both technical and business focused buyers.

This is a virtual position and can be locate in, or near, any major city on the East coast or mid-west.

REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 20%
