Senior Patent Counsel

About The Position: Prestigious Electrical Equipment Company is looking for a Senior Patent Counsel with at least 5 years (EE) experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Will: (1) Develop and maintain US and foreign patent applications, trademarks, and copyrights; (2) Perform patent infringement and validity analyses; (3) Provide legal advice regarding patent viability, filing patent applications, domestic and foreign patent strategies; (4) Render trademark opinions and advise regarding trademark usage and branding strategies; and (5) Provide other general legal advice as necessary. Requirements: (1) 5+ years of patent prosecution experience; (2) an EE Degree; (3) Knowledge and prior engineering experience in the fields of wireless digital communications or digital signal processing theory highly desirable; and (5) admitted to the USPTO + at least one State Competitive compensation and excellent benefits offered.
