Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer / Consultant

Job Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our customers to assess their needs and design appropriate solutions as well as being an evangelist for ExtraTeam. You will be part of a high level team responsible for meeting our customers' planning, design, implementation, configuration, installation and management needs.

• Network design: Produce network infrastructure solutions and designs based on Microsoft and Cisco technology

• Presentations: Be able to present product and technology information to all levels within an organization (both pre- and post-sales) as well as at seminars and trade shows.

• Troubleshooting: Work closely with customers to resolve networking problems across a wide range of technologies.

• Documentation: Ensure high quality technical documents are produced quickly and accurately.

• Relationship management: Undertake on-going communications with customers to ensure ExtraTeam’s involvement in future projects and to update customers on new products and services.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills:

• Microsoft MCSE 2003 certification. Please quote your MCSE number on your resume.
• You will need to be very experienced with all major Microsoft Products - Windows 2003, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SMS, SQL, MOM etc.
• You should be expert level on AD and Exchange (VERY IMPORTANT)
• 5 years experience working with high-availability networks
• Strong understanding of networks at the protocol level
• Candidates must have experience with structured change management practices
• Firewall/security experience
• A Cisco certification would be desirable
• Ability to perform needs assessment and handle technical objections
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
