Senior Marketing Rep / Sales Consultant

This position requires someone who is confident, outgoing and sociable with a perpetual positive attitude and irrepressible enthusiasm.
We are looking for a marketer/sales rep with a successful track record in HEALTHCARE selling and customer account management for small, medium and large customer accounts. Ideal candidate would have high energy level, excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with and work well with others in various fast changing environments/situations that require strong networking and listening skills.
Job Accountabilities:•Build interest in the INSPIRIS with residents and their families;
•Ability to present information in an accurate and compassionate, non-threatening manner;•Plans, organizes and schedules all INSPIRIS-specific marketing events, family meetings, etc;
•Maintains a regular (daily or weekly) presence at network facilities to establish rapport with key contacts/staff and to build understanding of the INSPIRIS program, leading to referrals;
•Provides regular sales and marketing activities reports to INSPIRIS and facility administration;
•Participates in development and achievement of program enrollment targets and sales/marketing plans.
REQUIREMENTS
Medicare Sales rep or Managed care Provider Relations background would be ideal.
PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND UNLESS YOU HAVE A MEDICAL SALES BACKGROUND!!**Must have a car and be willing to travel (mileage reimbursement) in the NYC area.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with emphasis in health care or marketing.
•Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in health care sales or marketing with at least one year in a Medicare-related environment. Experience with the frail elderly and/or nursing home population is highly desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to develop rapport with nursing facility staff and residents/responsible parties, physicians, and community.•Department of NY State health insurance license not required
•Demonstrated excellence in teamwork.
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills.Other Candidate Considerations:•Must be comfortable being in nursing facilities with potential and existing members who suffer from multiple morbidities and/or who are cognitively impaired.
•Must possess a positive and collaborative approach to the sales/retention process.•Ability to work nights and weekends to contact family/responsible party for resident in order to facilitate enrollment.
•Non-aggressive sales style. The target population does not respond well to high-pressure sales tactics.•Must be adept at developing and maintaining positive relationships with critical sales influencers (physicians, nursing facility staff, families, etc.).•Must be able to identify potential obstacles with influencers and work jointly with health plan and INSPIRIS to determine how to overcome those obstacles.
