POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Marketing Recruiter will provide staffing leadership to business leaders and human resource partners within Marketing for Discover Financial Services LLC. The successful incumbent will manage the identification and attraction of talent through the use of innovative tools and processes as well as through traditional methods of effective recruiting. The incumbent will collaborate with the Corporate Recruiting Manager, and internal clients to develop and streamline processes. The general responsibilities include understanding business requirements, candidate sourcing, development, assessment and managing the hiring process.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Human Resource Generalists on workforce planning initiatives to develop and implement staffing initiatives for the Marketing group
Develop recruiting services and initiatives to effectively market Discover Financial Services and attract quality candidates in a timely, cost-effective manner
Foster a working relationship with hiring managers in determining open position requirements and sharing industry specific data
Participate in recruitment, interview, and selection of candidates for positions
Develop, design and implement processes for screening resumes, routing candidate information to hiring managers, scheduling and coordinating interviews
Consult with and advise hiring managers on developing and delivering competitive offers
Accountable for meeting established hiring targets and maintaining a time sensitive focus
Ensure compliance with complex state and federal employment laws
Create and implement recruiting programs (college recruiting, executive recruiting, vendor management, etc.)
Interface with vendors to ensure adherence to program terms and conditions
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree and/or six plus years of equivalent business related experience
Strong communication, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Demonstrated ability in utilizing efficient, cost-effective recruitment strategies
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet research experience
Applicant Tracking Systems experienceDESIRED SKILLS:
AIRS Internet Recruiting Training
PHR/SPHR
Knowledge of Visa Processing
