Senior Managers will manage and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for large consumer package goods clients. Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
- Engagement Management: managing engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defines deliverable content, ensures buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client
- Business Development: develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizes and leads pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process, contributes to proposal pricing strategy.
- Practice Development & Eminence: development of solutions and methodologies, development of "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents
, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
- People Development: performs role of counselor and coach, provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.
Required Experience and Attributes:
- 7+ years in consulting services, including at least 3 years of project management experience
- - Majority of engagement experience focused on the Retail market segment focused on Store Operation in large retail organizations
- Experience withing Store Operations must include many of the following:
- Corporate Strategy
- Customer Experience/Behavior/Loyalty
- Labor Management
- Merchanising
- Marketing
- Branding
- Pricing
- Promotions
- Channel Management
- Distribution and Supply
Chain Management
- Experience should also include implementation/selection of POS technology
- Should be considered a Store Operation knowledge leader within your firm or in the industry as a whole
- Significant experience managing large program tracks, operations and product launches and client relationships
- Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (includes offshore development teams)
- Experience analyzing, designing and implementing large scale business/technology solutions
- Strong communication experience should include presentation / proposal generation, as well as an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization
- Very high attention to detail
- Stellar work ethic
- Ability to accommodate client travel up to 100%
- BS degree Required, MBA strongly
