Senior Hyperion Consultant - Essbase, HFM & Planning
Responsible for the delivery of solution-oriented consulting and mentoring services to customers and partners utilizing Hyperion products.

Specific Responsibilities:
Develop business focused technical solutions using Hyperion products for customers.Act as Lead/Senior resource on consulting engagements through all stages of the project life-cycle, from initial customer contact through implementation.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and to manage their expectations regarding functionality and deliverables.Determine customer requirements, project scope, and assist in creating estimates of efforts.Develop and implement applications for customers based on identified requirements.Provide installation, configuration and trouble shooting services.Provide development, testing, and implementation services.Based on experience, this individual may be leading a team on a client engagement.Mentor project team members in the development of technical and consulting skills.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
B.S. in Accounting or Computer Science; MBA or CPA desirable, or equivalent work experience.5-8+ years experience working with budgeting, consolidation, and financial reporting applications.Minimum of 4 years experience with Hyperion Essbase and at least one of the following technologies: Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Application Link, Hyperion Analyzer, and/or Hyperion Integration Server (HIS/EIS).Strong Visual Basic experience is highly desirable.Involvement in full life cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation and Training.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills and ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers.Excellent analytical and research skills.Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum amount of supervision as well as add value to cross-functional teams.Experience in a variety of industries such as retail, financial, health, travel and/or consumer packaged goods.Consulting experience is highly desirable plus.Ability and willingness to travel 80% for client engagements on a nation-wide basis.
