Senior Engineer/Air Quality

ERM seeks an energetic, self-starting Mid to Senior Engineer with expertise in air quality and regulatory compliance to join our consulting firm in St. Charles, MO. Position responsibilities include:Oversee and conduct air permitting and compliance projects.
Conduct dispersion modeling.
Prepare and review air permits and authorizations.
Evaluate air pollution control technologies.
Independently design environmental systems and processes to minimize the release of hazardous materials or to remove hazardous materials from the environment.
Conduct and manage compliance audits at industrial facilities
Manage large projects and multi-person project teams with limited supervision.
Participate in developing proposals, proposals costs and change orders.
Mentor junior staff.
Maintain client relationships and manage budget/schedule expectations and scope of assignments.
Requirements:
BS in Engineering or related degree, MS preferred.
5-8 years of experience in air quality regulatory compliance.
Must have consulting experience working with Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and MACT.
Excellent writing, computational, and computer skills.
Good presentation skills.
Advanced regulatory knowledge with proven negotiation skills.
PE certified or desire to obtain certification.
