Senior DB2 DBA - downtown - no travel

Mid Size company seeks a strong DB2 DBA. Candidate will work with small team of 3-5 to provide daily support to large scale DB2 database.

Client would consider a contract to hire or full time role.

Candidate will work on a strategic plan to help move all systems to DB2 from a variety of databases currently in house.

DBA must be willing to work with Senior Management on both daily DBA functions and strategic planning.

System has large scale membership system so data is very critical to the business.
REQUIREMENTS
5-10 years of total DBA experience.

DB2 - 5 + years of experience

Oracle or SQL Server - 3+ years of experience would beneficial to the projects.

Overall Strategic and daily DBA experience. Working independently is a must in this role. Candidate must have great communication skills
